XIXL - TEXT command
Return to knowledge base directory

Use: TEXT:This is the text I want to display

Multi-line displays: on those applet which support multi-line displays, the applet will calculate necessary line-breaks and wrap as appropriate. If you wish, you can force line breaks by using the paragraph (§) character. The paragraph character will only force a line break if preceded and followed by white space. So, for example, "§1" would not force a line break, but "Great § Products" will force a line break.

Special charcters: to use special characters (e.g. £,Í,ë), simply write them directly into the text file as such. Do not use strange HTML codes.

Inverted commas: to write inverted commas in an external index file, use a single inverted comma ' or an escape character followed by an inverted comma \".
